New Yugoslavia, 1970

Description:

On the 29th November 1943 on second session of AVNOJ in Jajce the post war country was planned from 6 federal units (Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina).

On Tito's proposal AVNOJ was declared as legislative body, to King of Yugoslavia Peter II. Karadzordzevic in his government the right to represent Yugoslav people was declined and return to his home land was forbidden. New government was formed (Narodni komite osvoboditev Jugoslavije – NKOJ), to Josip Broz title marshal was assigned.

On the picture is Josip Broz (partisan name Tito), Yugoslav marshal and politician creation-slovenian nationality and Edvard Kardelj (partisan name Krištof), Slovenian politician and publicist.

Around the federal units is red river, which symbolises spilled Yugoslav blood for defence the home land against the occupier.

Every federal unit has a source of blood, which runs into mutual river.
