Old mill

Old mill, 1979

Description:

Water mill is rural machine for crushing and grinding corn into flour.

On the left side is hayrack. The hayrack is a fixed, vertical, mainly wooden, open, but roofed device for drying and storing. In the past it was used for storing cereals; nowadays it is used only for hay.

The mill loudly rumbles and water rustles, so the rocks between are turning and crushing the corn.
