Description:

OLD Yugoslavia is Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, a monarchy of three equal tribes with unified flag and serbian-croation-slovenian language and motto »One Nation, one King, one Country" (king is Aleksander I.Karadzordzevic).

After the defeat of Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Croatian assembly in Zagreb and people gathering in Ljubljana on 29th of October 1918 announced national freedom and formation of independent Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes with center in Zagreb. Danger from Italy, which occupied Slovenian Littoral and Istria and parts of Dalmatia, and pressure from Serbia over union in common country, resulted in uniting State SHS with is Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes in 1st December 1918.

The first Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes constitution – Vidovdan constitution – was established 28th June 1921.

NEW Yugoslavia was formed on the 29th November 1943 on second session of AVNOJ in Jajce from 6 federal units (Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina).
On Tito's proposal AVNOJ was declared as legislative body, to King of Yugoslavia Peter II. Karadzordzevic in his government the right to represent Yugoslav people was declined and return to his home land was forbidden. New government was formed (Narodni komite osvoboditev Jugoslavije – NKOJ), to Josip Broz title marshal was assigned.

Yugoslavia (Serbo-Croatian, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin, Slovene, Macedonian: is a term that describes three political entities that existed successively on the Balkan Peninsula in Europe, during most of the 20th century.
